Product descriptionThis is a Takasaki Daruma inspired by Shohei Ohtani, a player for the Los Angeles Dodgers.A special set of two, inspired by the Dodgers' colors.This is a limited production item with only 900 sets available.
Daruma dolls are handcrafted one by one by Daruma artisans from "Daimonya," a long-established shop in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture.Continuing tradition while taking on new challenges. This "Shohei Ohtani × Takasaki Daruma" was born by overlapping that image with Shohei Ohtani.
The [White Daruma] is inspired by the "home" uniform worn by Shohei Ohtani.The [Blue Daruma] is inspired by the "Spring Training" uniform.The "home" white represents the tradition of white where victory breathes. It embodies pride in preserving history and aiming for unseen heights.The "Spring Training" blue signifies the dynamism that announces the start of a new season and the hope that carves out the future.Both are indispensable symbols that support Shohei Ohtani's strength and evolution.
Furthermore, the golden MLB logo, which only the chosen can bear on their backs.We have expressed that proud golden MLB logo on the back of the Daruma.
